The timing couldn’t be better for L-A-C Conveyors & Automation to become ISO 9001:2015 accredited as they continue to experience explosive growth. With their 25th project design engineer now onboard, it’s great to have this accreditation to show L-A-C are committed to excellence.
What makes getting the ISO 9001 accreditation extra special is the fact it’s the only standard in the 9000 series that requires certification. ISO 9001 Certified means an organisation has met the requirements which define an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). ISO 9001 evaluates whether your Quality Management System is appropriate and effective while forcing you to identify and implement improvements.
Lauren Cassady, systems coordinator at L-A-C lead the project and had the responsibility of getting the certification. Speaking on the accreditation, Lauren said: “This is a great achievement for the L-A-C team. We can now show that we’ve got what it takes to do bigger scoped projects.”
