Aimed at all areas of pallet handling and storage, the new range offers an extremely durable solution to this demanding sector, whilst improving on industry standards for performance and reliability.
The Pallet Roller conveyors feature a heavy duty, powder coated mild steel framework that gives the structure great strength, whilst at the same time allows for easy maintenance as and when required. Removable covers keep the heavy duty loop chain drive free from contamination, at the same time keeping the system safe.
Two standard roller pitches are available, 182 mm and 103 mm which, combined with the 80 mm diameter rollers, provide more than adequate support for loads of up to 2,500 kgs per pallet.

L.A.C. Conveyor systems, on of the UK's leading suppliers of conveyors to the Food Processing Industry, have launched a new standard range of Hygienic modular Belt Elevators. Aimed specifically at the food processing industry, the new range meets the high care requirements of this demanding sector, whilst standardisation of the units has lead to cost savings without impacting on performance or reliability.
The High care conveyors feature an open skeletal structure to allow for cleaning. All welds are fully polished to prevent possible bacterial harbors. A variety of belts with differing pitches of flight, to suit the product to be conveyed, can be incorporated, however all belts are easy clean with open hinge design.
Motors and bearings are shielded to prevent ingress of liquids whilst being high pressure hose cleaned. Clean in place systems can incorporate into the body of the conveyor to continually clean the belt whilst in operation, drip trays and reservoirs prevent product from escaping the conveyor...

In addition to the many conveyors due to be installed at Delmonte, Wisbech a bespoke gantry is also being manufactured by L.A.C. Food Industry Conveyors. The 3 meter high platform will over see a number of conveyors working below and support an elevator conveyor that off-loads product into Delmontes unique weighing facility.

The company Keystream have taken proactive measures in the event of system failures. They have recently ordered a 6 meter decline conveyor as a safety net. The conveyor will ensure a steady stream of production is maintained should engineers have to resolve the issues on production lines.

An installation will take place at the Delmont Factory in Wisbech for a variety of conveying systems, these are to inlcude:
- 2 x elevator conveyors each measuring 6.5 metres
- 2 x bulk in-feed conveyors each measuring 1.5 metres
- 1 x out-feed conveyor at 7 metres
From sign off of approved drawings the system took four weeks to manufacturer and will be installed the first week of September 09

Delivery will take place this week for a 3 tier, 10 meter Modular Belt Conveyor to a farm in Kent. The conveyor will speed up the process of grading on the spring onion line.

We are pleased to confirm that the installation of the modular belt conveyors for the new processing lines at St Ivel are going very well. The installation will take two days for two of our engineers and commissioning of the conveyors will be completed on Wednesday of this week.

In a snap decision to extend one of their existing production lines, our team of conveying engineers attended site at Hitchen Foods during shift changeover, and had 6 hours to install the extension of the modular belt conveyor to the mash potato line. Work began at 7pm and completed within the time frame for 1am! for the morning shift to resume production.
Conveyors where manufactured off site within a two day time frame prior to installation.

L.A.C. Food Industry Conveyors are due to install a series of modular belt conveyors at St Ivel for their new yogurt processing line. The conveyors will transport single lane pots through a series of conveying lines to produce multiple lanes to the packing section. From there they move from the modular belt conveyors to the Palletising Conveyors for distribution.
From design, proof sign off into engineering and manufacturing completion took 6 weeks. The conveying line lengths are in access of 30 meters overall.
