L.A.C. Conveyor systems on of the UK's leading suppliers of all types of belt and roller conveyors, have launched a new standard range of Pallet Handling Conveyors. Aimed at all areas of pallet handling and storage, the new range offers an extremely durable solution to this demanding sector, whilst improving on industry standards for performance and reliability. The Pallet Roller Conveyors feature a heavy duty, powder coated mild steel framework that gives the structure great strength, whilst at the same time allows for easy maintenance as and when required.  Removable covers keep the heavy duty loop chain drive free from contamination, at the same time keeping the system safe. Two standard roller pitches are available, 182mm and 103mm which, combined with the 80mm diameter rollers, provide more than adequate support for loads of up to 2,500 kgs per pallet. For situations where longer distances are involved, LAC Conveyors Pallet Roller Systems can transport a single pallet up to 12 meters on a single drive.  This keeps the control costs for any system to a minimum....

L.A.C. Conveyor systems, on of the UK's leading suppliers of conveyors to the Food Processing Industry, have launched a new standard range of Hygienic Belt Elevators.  Aimed specifically at the food processing industry, the new range meets the high care requirements of this demanding sector, whilst standardisation of the units has lead to costs savings without impacting on performance or reliability. The 'High Care' conveyor range features an open skeletal structure to allow access for cleaning whilst not compromising on safety for operators.  All welds are continuous, dressed and polished to prevent possible bacterial harbours.  A variety of belts with differing pitches of flight and width are available dependant upon the throughput and type of product to be conveyed. All are FDA approved and have ben chosen specifically for their ease of cleaning and durability wihtin a harsh environment. Motors and bearings are shielded to prevent ingress of liquids whilst being high pressure hose cleaned.  Clean in...

L.A.C. (Food Industry) Conveyors is currently manufacturing 4 units for a Tea Bag producer in the North West.

The 6 meter long Elevator conveyors are to replace the clients existing units which where original manufactured (by another supplier) using mild steel. Due to the abrasive content which inhabits 'Tea' the conveyors are now being engineered using stainless steel.

The belts that will be running these conveying systems are 'Endless Flighted PU Belts' and in this instance the client requires  the return roller to be designed as a quick release unit, to enable them to remove the belt for maintenance and cleaning purposes.

Eight Modular Belt Conveyors of varying run lengths from half a meter to three meters with varying conveying belt pitches is one of two system designed, engineered and to be installed, by L.A.C. Food Industry Conveyors, for a crumpet manufacture in the south of the UK. The Modular Belt Conveyors are designed with a solid high density plastic beveled edge end bed (less rollers)  which lye's under the conveyor belt . Having the conveyor systems designed this way makes the unit cost effective, saving time in engineering and also increases the longevity of the life of the conveyor belt (through less wear at any single point) saving time in manufacturing and replacement parts has a cost saving we can pass on to the client. L.A.C. Food Industry Conveyors are situated in the 'End of Line' packaged area of the plant and convey the packed product on conveyors and through a series checks:- Single transfer to multiple width line crumpet (groups of 4) conveyors Metal detector - and indexer conveying lines...

Standard sized modular belts conveyors are normally engineered at 100mm wide, however for the makers of a 'The Family Sized' trifles the requirement is for a 250mm Wide Modular Belt Conveyor.

The conveyors overall length is 4500mm by 250mm wide and transfers product in to the packing station area. From there the product is manually transferred on to a lower roller bed system for onward transfer to distribution area.

For the above project L.A.C. Conveyors also designed and engineered the Stainless Steel Packing Station.

The company Keystream have taken proactive measures in the event of system failures.  They have recently ordered a 6 meter decline conveyor as a safety net.  The conveyor will ensure a steady stream of production is maintained should engineers have to resolve the issues on production lines.
